Community substance misuse services
We deliver a fully integrated recovery and clinical services which focuses on a “Connect, Dependence, Freedom” model and enables service users to access end-to-end treatment and care, with a focus on moving through the service to achieve abstinence.
In-patient detox and treatment
The Pavilion is a stunning 18 bed residential detoxification, wellbeing and addiction centre, situated in the picturesque city of Lancaster. We offer people aged 18 years and over personalised and structured detoxification programmes tailored to their individual needs.
Offender health services
We deliver a fully integrated clinical and psycho-social service which includes screening, assessment, recovery planning, detoxification, health promotion, discharge planning, transfer planning and release arrangements to ensure onward support and referral.
We have a range of bespoke therapy programmes aimed at: supporting people with an alcohol or drug addiction problems; helping their families and dependants; encouraging and equipping people in recovery to take a useful and responsible part in society.
Technology-enabled care and support
We offers community alarms and a growing range of assistance technologies to people who are vulnerable because of age, disability, or illness. The service helps people to live independently within their community and provides reassurance to families.
Personal health budgets
We work with a range of partners to develop and manage personalised health and care plans – helping patients to take control of the health needs and live life to the fullest.
Complex needs support
At our two purpose-built sites, we accommodate and support people with complex needs who are homeless or referred for safe refuge. Support can be delivered alongside drug and alcohol recovery programmes to help people take back control of their lives and move forward positively.
Domestic abuse services
We provide safe refuge accommodation across Lancashire to women and children and also to male victims, at the highest level of risk of serious harm and homicide. This includes the traditional communal refuges, self-contained family flats, shared flats and safe houses.
Gateway is our state of the art homelessness project, providing support and training to homeless and vulnerable people with complex needs. The facility has been specifically designed to ensure services improve people’s health, wellbeing and employability.
Residential and dementia care
At our new purpose-built 28-bed scheme we will provide services for high dependency care needs and people living with dementia. Barley View in Whitworth is the first of our new residential care facilities.
Bean Good is our community-based catering service that offers training, volunteering and employment opportunities in addition to community engagement activities. Built around our friendly community cafés, we offer corporate buffets, meals on wheels and a food bank.
Floating support and refugee services
We work with a number of local authorities across the North of England to provide services to help people find accommodation and to sustain their tenancies. Our service provides free support to anyone who needs help to live independently.
Employability and training
Our social enterprises promote advancement of education, training and the relief of unemployment of people who are unemployed, low paid, low skills or have no skills. We provide decorating, cleaning and clearance services, in addition to recycling and refurbishment contracts for local authorities.
We work with over 60 construction companies across the Northwest of England to deliver apprenticeships through short term placements with multiple contractors. We also offer a consultancy to ensure that social value is included in construction through both procurement and planning routes.
Our drama based training company provides bespoke staff training opportunities in unique conference style setting through the delivery of scripted actor-led sessions that help individuals confront some of their most challenging areas of work in a safe environment.
We work in community settings with the intention of supporting individuals to raise their aspirations around training and/or seeking employment. We engage local schools, and other education providers to provide positive work experience and community learning.
Mindfulness & confidence building
Our Acorn Academy delivers bespoke programmes around counselling, mindfulness, confidence-building and drug and alcohol issues with a goal of developing people’s knowledge, awareness and resilience,
Housing and development
Our supported housing team provide flexible, tailored housing solutions for specialist client groups. This includes finding properties, contracts management, licencing, housing management and the coordination of repairs and maintenance.
Development and construction
Our construction services deliver extra social value though the employment of local staff, provision of apprenticeship and skills development opportunities, working with local supply chains and supporting local material providers.
Our specialist team help people on low incomes to make the most of their money and manage their way through benefits claims. We can help with a range of queries, from budgeting and spending reviews to benefits, debts, fuel poverty, and sourcing furniture.
